History

In the fall of 2012 Todd Cahoon and Lisa Raphael met for the first time.  Todd's wife Meagan hired Lisa, of Raphael Films, to shoot and edit the birth of their first child, Easton James.  The chemistry was instant and they soon came to find out they lived a mere 2 blocks from one another. Fate?  The final product turned out so amazing that Todd asked Lisa if she would be willing to start a company together.  The answer was "yes", so they started Roar Entertainment together and focused their vision on producing corporate videos.

In 2014 Todd's wife was pregnant with their second child.  Of course, she wanted another video.  It was during this pragnancy that Lisa and Todd saw an opportunity to be even more specialized in a field where there was little supply and high demand.  On Labor Day weekend 2014 while shooting interviews for their birth video, Lisa and Todd were throwing around ideas of what to name the new company.  They came up with some crazy ideas, but the name that seemed to stick was Labor Day Films.  2 days later on Labor Day, Meagan's water broke and she went into labor 2 weeks early.  We knew at the point the name and the company were meant to be.

Todd and Lisa are a hard-working, passionate pair.  They are in love with what they do and it certainly comes across in their work and the final product.
